    Relia’s Garden is a unique foodservice operation designed to specifically meet the needs of our guests here at the NOC.  This kitchen serves four basic duties; production of food for our Big Wesser BBQ location, buffet style meals for groups on campus, employee dining, and specialty meals. As a Production Cook at Relia's you must have previous cooking experience and be familiar with daily kitchen operations. This position is seasonal and reports to Relia's Production Manager. We are looking to hire 4 Production Cooks for both morning and evening positions.




    • Oversee meal plan menu
    • Prepare and plate menu items and specials in a fast-paced environment
    • Ensure that ingredients and food preparation are consistent with guest special needs and/or requests
    • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen
    • Follow established recipes and production methods
    • Maintain food quality and consistency
    • Assist other members of the Food and Beverage team as needed
    • Train across all necessary stations for kitchen function
    • All areas of kitchen operations are the responsibility of all kitchen employees on an as needed basis 



    • Strong understanding of the following: safe food handling, health code standards, and restaurant cleanliness
    • Function as a team player, take direction and work efficiently toward set goals
    • Thorough understanding of the flow of restaurant operations
    • Professional attitude and presence
    • Trustworthy and responsible
    • Strong decision making skills
    • Hard working and self-motivated to sustain productive work
    • Reliable and punctual
    • Must have reliable transportation
    • Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but will to train candidates
    • ServSafe certification preferred
    • Comfortable working on their feet for as long as eight-hour shifts and also have flexible availability
    • Must be able to lift 30lbs
