NOC is looking for a qualified candidate to join our Vehicle Shop team as the Assistant Manager. As the Assistant Manager of NOC’s Vehicle Shop, you will work with our small team at the Vehicle Shop on Needmore Rd. approximately 5 miles from the Main NOC Campus near Bryson City, NC. In this position, you will work with the River Overhead Manager, Vehicle Shop Manager and other mechanics and shop employees to ensure all NOC vehicles are registered, inspected and in proper, safe running condition when they are in service.
NOC maintains a fleet of approximately 100 vehicles of varying types with diesel engines, gasoline engines and a few electric motors including, busses, trucks, vans, cars and trailers. Most days will be spent at the Vehicle Shop but travel to our Outpost locations in multiple southeastern states is sometimes necessary. A flexible schedule that will include some weekend and holiday duty is required during the season when NOC is busiest from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
This position is located in beautiful western North Carolina and is the perfect place for any outdoor enthusiast. This position is full-time, year round and benefits eligible including health and dental insurance, 401k, vacation and sick days.
