Job Location: Bryson City, NC

Job Summary: 

 

The Custom & Group Sales Coordinator will be expected to book and manage NOC's large custom account reservations. Working with group leaders, owning and cultivating relaltionships with NOC partners and promoting NOC activities. In office, you will be building custom program iterneraries that effectivley utilize NOC's lodging, dining and recreational resources. Creating the best selected array of activites avaliable for groups while visiting NOC's campus is the primary objective of this positon. The Custom & Group Sales Coordinator position is an hourly, seasonal position that runs from late March into October. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coordinating and supporting custom groups at our Wesser campus
  • Coordinating with operations and food & beverage to confirm schedules and needs
  • Greet and be the liaison with groups on a daily basis
  • Look forward at incoming groups and anticipate needs in advance
  • Coordinate and communicate with Custom/Group Sales Representativess regarding special needs

Qualifications

  • Excellelent communicaiton and soft skills on the phone
  • Able to multi-task and handle overlapping issues with a positive demeanor and poise
  • Ability to provide an excellent and professional guest experience
  • Familiar with Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Basic computer skills

 

Preferred Education and Experience:

Proficient at Excel, Word and other software platforms.

 

Tools, Equipment & Conditions:

 A computer provided and partial cell phone stipend.
