    Job Summary


    NOC is looking for a Human Resource Assistant to join our HR team and we are looking to fill this position as soon as possible. This role is a great opportunity for any individual looking to gain experience in Human Resources or Business Administration or could be a great stepping stone to get your foot in the door with a reputable outdoor company.     This position provides administrative and recruiting support during HR's busy season (typically March - September). This position assists the HR team with recruiting, onboarding, housing assignments and inspections, daily HR operations and functions, administrative tasks and orientations.  Ideal candidates will have a strong attention to detail, a strong work ethic and a full understanding of the confidentiality required of this position, and have excellent communication skills. 


    This position reports to the HR Manager and is classified as seasonal and as such would qualify for all benefits that are extended to our seasonal staff. Hours can vary on the time of year and seasonal demands. Typically, from April - August this position will receive 40 hours/week and primarily work Monday through Friday. During peak season some Saturdays may be required. 


    • Support the Human Resource Manager and Recruiter with all of the functions of the Human Resource Department. Examples include:
      • Filing employee paperwork
      • Assisting with onboarding process
      • Assisting with orientations
      • Running campus errands
      • Assisting with the sale of Staff Apparel 
      • Maintaining organization of the HR office
    • Work with HR team to manage housing processes to ensure a smooth arrival experience for all employees
    • Conduct monthly housing inspections
    • Manage the flow of daily operations within the HR Office
    • Help create and facilitate staff events 
    • Assist Recruiter with Guide School and other recruiting efforts
    • Attend off-campus job fairs
    • Assist other departments as needed
    • Other duties as assigned



    • High School diploma or GED
    • Must be 18 years of age
    • Previous HR, clerical or administrative experience
    • Basic technical skills and familiarity with MS Office programs
    • Valid drivers license and clean driving record


    • College degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or currently enrolled 
    • Previous experience with ADP or iCIMS
    • Previous experience with Formstack

    Physical Demands and Environment

    • Must be able to lift 30lbs
    • Must be comfortable sitting for long periods of time
    • Must be able to bend, stoop, twist and climb ladders
    • Must be comfortable working in an indoor office environment
    • Must be adaptive and reactive to changes in technology and use of new programs
