    Job Summary:


    Join the NOC team as a Photographer/Photo Sales Associate for the 2018 Summer Season!! As a photographer at NOC, the river banks will become your office as you photograph NOC raft trips and private boaters as they run Nantahala Falls rapid on the Nantahala River. Photographers will not only capture the photos but also help to sell their shots to our guest in Photo Finish.


    **Due to the seasonality of this position, please note, that we will not be reviewing applications for this position until late February/March 2018.**


    • Helping guests locate and view their Nantahala River rafting photos at the Photo Finish
    • Providing photo format and pricing information
    • Completing credit card and cash sales transactions for photos and retail items
    • Communicating with guests about local area information, other NOC activities and offerings, and trip information
    • Providing top-notch guest service to all guests
    • Photographing NOC rafts and private crafts as they run Nantahala Falls rapid on the Nantahala, upon successful completion of NOC photography training


    • Applicants for a photos position at NOC should have great communication skills, a strong sense of guest service, and be enthusiastic about sharing outdoor activities with others. Applicants should enjoy working in a team setting, take direction well, and be able to work independently. Prior experience with customer service and/or sales is ideal, but not required.
    • NOC Photos primarily hires seasonally for the summer months, with occasional need in the shoulder season (spring and fall).
    • Ability to sit and stand for long period of time.
